Why I Don’t Call It a Ritual — I Call It a Practice

Because sacred doesn’t have to mean scripted.

Not every sacred act needs incense, moonlight, or perfect timing.

Some of the most powerful shifts happen…

  • With your back against the wall
  • In five stolen minutes before the kids wake up
  • While crying into your coffee

That’s why I don’t teach rituals.
I guide people into practices — because healing isn’t about performance.
It’s about presence.

EXPANDED INSIGHT:

For a long time, I thought healing had to look mystical to be meaningful.

I kept waiting for:

  • The right moon phase
  • A clear space with candles
  • Enough energy to “do it properly”

And you know what happened?
I kept waiting.
Waiting to feel spiritual enough. Stable enough. Safe enough.

Until Spirit whispered:

“What if you let your everyday life become the altar?”

That’s when I stopped chasing ritual… and started reclaiming rhythm.

Here’s what shifted:

  • I no longer needed two hours to ground — I just needed breath.
  • I didn’t need the perfect journal — I just needed honesty.
  • I didn’t need a playlist — I needed permission.

Practice makes your healing livable.
Ritual makes it visible.
Both are beautiful — but practice is what transforms you.

TIE TO PURPOSEFUL TRANSFORMATIONS:

This is at the core of everything I build at Purposeful Transformations.

🌀 The Wisdom-Wired™ Workbook isn’t a “do this on a full moon only” manual.
It’s a living, breathing space where your grief, joy, confusion, and growth can show up unfiltered.

🌀 The keychains aren’t props — they’re daily reminders.
They don’t require ceremony. They work because of your intention.

🌀 The Wisdom-Wired™ Practices (available with each chapter) are written to flow with your actual life — not a fantasy version of it.

Because I believe the sacred should meet you:

  • In the school pickup line
  • In the breakup aftermath
  • In the small window between your job and your healing

Ritual is beautiful.
Practice is sustainable.

PRACTICE: The “3-Minute Sacred Reset”

You’ll need:

  • Just you
  • No candles, tools, or noise necessary

Steps:

  1. Place one hand over your heart, one over your stomach
  2. Breathe in deeply and ask yourself:
    • “What am I holding that’s not mine?”
  3. As you exhale, release it. Out loud if needed.
    • “I let go of what isn’t mine to carry.”
  4. Then whisper this phrase:
    • “This moment is sacred because I said it is.”
  5. Repeat 3 times.
    Let it be enough.

What simple practices bring me back to myself without needing a setup?

Where Do I Go From Here?

You don’t need more steps — you need more stillness.
